Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Rosie a type 2 VW camper van. I was born in Brazil and brought over to the UK last year where I was adopted by JB and JE. As I am still quite young and was not adopted until late summer I have not had many adventures yet. That is about to change though. The weather is picking up and the road is our oyster (so to speak). JB and JE have lots of plans for me. Starting with Cornwall I think. I will be taking 2 border collies as well, Sparky and Fudge. Should be snug if nothing else. I don't go very fast at present but when my engine is run in I am hoping to get up to at least 65mph!
The question most people want to ask is "was your colour chosen?"
Well, let me tell you it was and it gets peoples heads turning. I have had cars pull up along side me on the motorway and passengers taking photos. One thing is for sure I won't be used as a getaway car!
If you see me on your travels give me a wave. JB has just about worked out where the lights are so you may get a flash in return.

You're right about the colour issue.... I'm yellow. There's nothing wrong with being different. Don't take any crap from people though Rosie, I was always being slated. It was generally by people that were often my passengers. Yeah...I was good enough to ferry them about though! Sticks and stones....
I go a bit faster than you though. Well I did. That's before I was sold to some bloke called Ben. He'd better look after me as well as my last owner did. I do miss her. It was a tearful goodbye when she left me.
I'll have to introduce you to Divvy but he's going to be spending a few months in the garage - he doesn't like his name though... You'll like Divvy. He's a boring dark blue colour though....

My name is Claus and I am a mean black Audi A3. Rosies mum always insults me when she gets in as I am decked out in some fabulous leather.
Anyway I go way much faster than Rosie and have more gears and everything.
